1. What is the JOYA Home sofa made of?
The Méridia is made exclusively of high-density 32 kg/m³ foam. This is a deliberate choice: no heavy frame, no wood or metal that eventually creaks or breaks, just premium foam that maintains its shape.
The result: a lighter, easy-to-move sofa that is above all ultra-comfortable and durable.
2. Is it likely to sag over time?
No. The foam we use is the same as that found in high-end furniture or hotels. It has been designed to withstand intensive daily use without losing its shape. You can lie down, sit every day, even sleep on it: the seat will remain firm and welcoming.
3. And the fabric, is it really durable?
Yes, and that's another of our strengths. We have chosen a thick corduroy velvet: soft to the touch but very resistant.
- It withstands over 40,000 Martindale cycles (hotel standard)
- It does not pill and retains its new appearance
- It is easily cleaned with a simple damp cloth
In short: you get a cozy fabric that truly withstands daily life.
4. How can I be sure of the quality?
Each sofa undergoes strict quality control before being compressed and shipped. Our partner factories work to demanding standards, and we guarantee our sofas for 2 years against any manufacturing defect. This is our way of ensuring that you are buying a product that will last over time.
5. Does compression not damage the foam or fabric?
Not at all. This is precisely where our SoftRecover® technology makes all the difference. The sofa is vacuum-packed to reduce its volume for transport, without ever altering either the foam or the fabric. Once installed in your home, it gradually regains its original shape and comfort within 48 to 72 hours.

Why is compression more eco-friendly?
By compressing our sofas, we significantly reduce their volume (by up to 80%). The result: less space in trucks, meaning fewer trips needed, less fuel consumed, and fewer transport-related emissions.
How does "compact box" delivery reduce carbon impact?
A classic sofa takes up a lot of space. A compressed sofa optimizes loading: more sofas per truck and more efficient logistics, which helps to reduce the carbon footprint of delivery.
Does compression damage the sofa or reduce its durability?
No. Compression is a packaging method designed for transport. Once unpacked, the sofa gradually regains its shape. Our materials (foams and fabrics) are selected to retain their shape and comfort over time.
Do your sofas contain wood?
Our sofas are designed without a wood frame, which avoids contributing to the demand for wood related to furniture and limits the impact associated with deforestation.
What are your commitments regarding materials (fabric, foam, etc.)?
We prioritize more responsible materials:
- our fabrics are OEKO-TEX® certified (control of harmful substances)
- our foam is CFC-free

- Will the sofa fit in an elevator?
Yes! Thanks to its compressed format (compact cardboard box), it easily fits in elevators, stairwells, or narrow doorways. - How is the installation done?
Simply open the box, unroll the sofa, remove the plastic, and let it regain its shape for a few hours (48 to 72 hours) to reach its final volume, then connect the elements with the velcro. No specific tools required. - How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free throughout mainland France (excluding Corsica).
Free delivery applies to all deliveries at the curb.

- How can I track my order?
You will receive a shipping confirmation email containing all the necessary information to track your package. These details will also be available at any time in your customer area, under the "My Orders" section.

After your order has been shipped, it may take a few days for it to be transferred to the local agency responsible for delivery in your area. Once the package is handled by this agency, the carrier will contact you directly to arrange delivery according to your availability. - How can I find out the shipping or delivery date for my order?
Details regarding shipping and estimated delivery times are included in the confirmation email you receive after validating your order. Delivery times are expressed in business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. It is not possible to set a delivery date until the order has been shipped. Once your package is handed over to the carrier, they will contact you to arrange an appointment. If the proposed date or time slot does not suit you, you can change it directly via the link sent by SMS and email. - Which countries do you deliver to?
We currently deliver to Metropolitan France for all our products.
